As a Xamarin Developer you will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting green-field project and will be responsible for the cross-platform development of the company’s on-going mobile development.

Day-to-day you will be involved in the development of cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin Forms (focussing initially on Android) where you will bring into play all your experience to produce an engaging, performant and useable experience for our end-users taking pride in “ownership” of the final product.

Essential Skills:

·         Proven experience with the full development lifecycle with mobile applications

·         Developing cross-platform mobile applications, particularly Android, using Xamarin Forms with C#/XAML within an

·         MVVM architectural framework

·         Working with Visual Studio (2017) as your IDE of choice

·         Controlling source code with Git

·         Developing unit tests – Xunit/Moq

·         Using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) or similar for build/release management

·         Controlling release media – Google Play, Apple Store

·         Passion for leaning the latest technologies

·         Attention to detail

·         Good communication skills – written and verbal

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

·         Comfortable working in and contributing to a fledgling Agile team environment

·         Gathering and challenging requirements from other areas within the company

·         Knowledge of factors contributing to a good user experience

·         Dealing with and actioning user feedback (both positive and negative)

·         Previous experience using various features of Microsoft Azure
