Senior C# Developer required

West Midlands based

£45,000 + 25days holiday + Pension

Touchscreen Talent is working with a fantastic brand who require a C#.Net Developer to join their expanding operation. With a desire to become an authority in Europe, this is an exciting time to join the company and take part in major business critical projects  Working within their development team, you will develop and enhance a number of products with the latest Microsoft technology stack. The successful candidates will be responsible for:  – developing new greenfield systems using:

  • C#,
  • MVC5, with Razor preferred
  • SQL Server 2014
  • WCF
  • JavaScript and ideally
  • Angular –
  • HTML / CSS
  • SOA Knowledge, TFS, JIRA, bootstrap

You will also enhance existing systems, analyse business objectives and identify areas for improvement and work with colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.

Any experience of JavaScript and ideally Angular is of interest because the role will develop towards true full stack, although initially, you’ll need strong skills in C#, with MVC and SQL.   You will possess relevant demonstrable commercial and capable of talking openly about how you’ve worked within a professional development capacity and using MVC applications and WCF services through C#.Net.

Key skills:  – C#.Net (strong back end dev skills)   – SQL Server to stored procedure level   – MVC4.0/5.0 with Razor preferred   – Some HTML / CSS / JavaScript (any Angular is desirable)   – Agile working experience preferred
