We are working with a growing technology provider searching for a QA to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical and operational integrity of their online solutions and websites. Candidate will work with development, support services, and ad hoc testers to create, develop, and execute test plans based on business needs.

Experience:

  • Suitable amount of Quality Assurance experience in testing software products and releases.
  • Manual & Automated testing experience
  • Experience of working with remote onshore and offshore Teams.
  • Understanding of database schemas and querying tools (ie, SQL).
  • API automated testing expertise.
  • Regression testing automation setup, execution, and optimization
  • Knowledge of both Manual and Automated testing tools
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle methodologies (ie, waterfall, agile).
  • Strong understanding of release management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and test new or modified online software products.
  • Provide breakdown of QA tasks and time estimates for planning.
  • Develop and document test strategy for onshore and offshore teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Identify, analyse, and report test results.
  • Report, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system.
  • Provide input toward developing Quality Assurance standards.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with a team of software developers, online support professionals, project and product managers and company directors.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with remote development team.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours as necessary.
  • Ability to “think outside the box.”
