2nd Line Support Analyst

West Midlands – Birmingham

£30,000 + Bens

Supporting UK and certain global users, the role of the IT Support Technician is to be an integral part of the IT team, supporting the internal IT infrastructure and providing 2nd line support to end-users you will resolve a wide-range of IT technical and business Tech problems. Operating in a small team, you will work through tickets, provide desk side or remote support, work on projects and assist the company in meeting its strategic goals.

As IT Support Technician your duties will include:

  • Provide 2nd line support for end-user queries
  • Monitor systems to ensure they are running optimally
  • Liaise with support providers and equipment manufacturers
  • Help introduce systems and processes to bring efficiencies as we grow
  • Work closely with the IT Team to develop and refine the systems in use.
  • Keep up to date on the latest projects to ensure effective appropriate systems and services are available to meet the existing and future needs of the company.

IT Support Technician Essential skills:

  • Windows Server 2012
  • Networking- AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAPs
  • GPO, Deployment techniques
  • Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint
  • Windows 10

IT Support Technician Desirable skills:

  • Azure
  • OSX
  • MDM (Intune)
  • Watchguard Firebox
